Challenge
The company was in a rapid growth phase but lacked the financial structure, sales leadership, and internal controls needed to scale effectively. They were also over‑reliant on external accounting services that were costly and not providing meaningful insights.
Our Approach
- Placed a Director of Sales from our consulting network to lead the sales team for 2–3 years, driving consistent revenue growth
- Identified inefficiencies with the company’s CPA and transitioned to an internal accounting function
- Built a small internal accounting department to manage bookkeeping, reporting, and cash flow more effectively
- Implemented ramp and corporate spend programs to manage growth responsibly
- Prepared fundraising materials, including drafting the CIM for investors
- Supported securing $2M in loans to finance expansion
